Rationale:

Matlab is currently used in Math 541, 542, 543, 693a, and 693b; and can be a useful tool in many other settings, e.g. Math 150, 151, 252, 254, 337. This is an attempt at collecting a set of useful examples to facilitate and accelerate student learning of matlab.
