Spatio-Temporal Flame Patterns in Combustion Systems: In collaboration with Antonio Palacios (Nonlinear Dynamical Systems Group at SDSU). We are studying the mechanisms that lead to various types of non-stationary cellular flame patterns. In particular, we are investigating the effects of additive, multiplicative, and colored noise near bifurcation points.
