I'm studying waves in inhomogeneous and complex (random) media. Applications come from electromagnetic wave propagation in the atmosphere, underwater acoustics, medical ultrasound, waves in the lithosphere, etc. I'm interested in both direct and inverse problems.

Current work includes a computational and measurement-based study aimed at assessing the effects of multi-pathing in communication systems. Of particular interest is the effects of time reversal on communications metrics.
