In my Ph.D Thesis I focused on multi-channel (color) image restoration techniques based on partial differential equations. In particular, I developed the multi-channel version of Rudin-Osher-Fatemi's Total Variation based noise removal algorithm.

My current interest is mainly developing and adopting image processing techniques for bio-medical applications.
